Going Green

When it comes to going green the best way to change is to start small and instead of buying something that was man made and contains toxic chemicals, why not buy something that is a lot better for the environment.  Here are a few going green Eco-essentials to get your started.

1.  Eco Ranch:  It’s a board game where the goal is to reduce your carbon footprint and expand your awareness of environmental issues.  It’s a great way to help kids understand how important the earth is and what they can do to help save problems the earth is suffering currently. ($35)

2.  Made By Hank:  Ever wanted a purse that brings out the best in your Eco-style?  Why not choose a style from Made by Hank purses.  The designer Katie Henry makes these hand stitches zippered pouches in the most eye appealing styles available and they have vintage fabrics as well to help complement you Eco-style.  ($12-$16)

3.  Beklina Organizers:  Need some Eco-friendly organizing tools?  Try this recycled leather day planner made by Ashley Watson.  They have a soft cover and are reborn from old leather jackets that have been discarded.  They are colored with sustainable dyes and have a snap closure.  ($140)
